PENGARUH SAFETY CULTURE TERHADAP KESELAMATAN PENERBANGAN DI BANDAR UDARA TUNGGUL WULUNG CILACAP

Abstract

Since opening as a commercial airport, the number of airport passengers has increased. An increased in Tunggul Wulung Cilacap Airport activity indirectly affects the safety management system that depends on the safety culture at the airport. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of safety culture at Tunggu Wulung Cilacap Airport, and the effect of safety culture on flight safety at Tunggul Wulung Cilacap airport.

This is a quantitative study. Study primary data obtained based on the distribution of questionnaires distributed to Aviation Security (AVSEC), Apron Movement Control (AMC), Passanger Service (PASASI) Susi Air and Pelita Air Airlines officers as many as 40 people with simple linier regresssion data analysis techniques and T test (Bivariat).
The result howed that the application of safety culture at the Tunggul Wulung Cilacap Airport was already in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Government Rule 3 / 2001 on Flight Security and Safety. The result of hypothesis testing Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, as evidenced by the significant value of 0,000 <0,05 (p<0,05) which means that there was an influence of safety culture on flight safety that every 1% increase in the safety culture level, flight safety will increase by 82,7% and partially safety culture has a positive and significant effect on flight safety by 89,6% and the remaining 5,4% is influenced by other factors.
