The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide continues to show a rapid increase. As of November 24, 2020, the number of cases had reached 55.6 million and 1.34 million died worldwide, 506,302 people were exposed and 16,111 people died in Indonesia (Covid-19 Task Force, 2020). What is the impact on the Indonesian economy when viewed from the balance of payments side. The study aims to determine the extent to which the impact of Covid-19 on the Indonesian economy is seen from the balance of payments and predictions in the future, if it is possible that the Covid-19 pandemic will continue for a long time. The impact of Covid-19 on Indonesia's balance of payments was very pronounced at the end of the first quarter of 2020, a deficit of USD 8,545 million was recorded, then in the second quarter of 2020 it increased drastically to a surplus of USD 9,245 million and although it fell in the third quarter, it was still recorded a surplus of USD 2,053 million. . This is better than in the previous period. in the first quarter of 2018 and 2019 there was a deficit of 3,855 million USD and a surplus of 2,410 million USD. Then in the second quarter of 2018 a deficit of 4,309 million USD and 1,977 in the second quarter of 2019. And the third quarter of 2018 and 2019 respectively a deficit of 4,386 million USD and 46 million USD.
