Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the integration of payment system in park & ride spots s in DKI Jakarta with BRT Trans Jakarta. Although both services are in the transportation sector, park & ride management is under Technical Executing Unit (UPT) of Parking Management, semi-autonomy unit under Department of Transportation of Jakarta province government, while Trans Jakarta is under PT. Trans Jakarta as a regional owned company of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. Park & ride services still use a cash mechanism while Trans Jakarta services have implemented a non-cash mechanism so in order to integrating both type of service, park & ride also needs to apply a cashless payment mechanism. Moreover, from findings in the field, many park & ride users also continue their journey with Trans Jakarta services so that the continuity of transaction features is an important thing.
