Abstract

Abstract

COVID-19 virus has swept the world since March 2020 last year. Many Indonesians have been infected and exposed to this deadly virus. Because the impact of this epidemic cannot be prevented yet, the government has taken several steps to deal with this virus in a way that is based on the law of the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) province; it is the governor's decision No. 64/KEP/2020 concerning the formation of a task force for handling COVID-19. This study aims to find out how the perception of people infected by COVID-19 on the readiness and alertness of the COVID-19 task force in the villages of Madurejo, Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The respondents of this study are 90 people who were infected by COVID-19 in Madurejo village. The data was collected using a questionnaire, measuring instrument with Likert scale 5 points in the validity and reliability test, and analyzed using descriptive analysis by looking for the mean value of each question. The research model uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with two main constructs, namely readiness and alertness. The results showed that people infected by COVID-19 had the perception that the COVID-19 task force in Madurejo was very prepared and alert.
