ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN PADA PT. ADARO ENERGY TBK DAN PT BUKIT ASAM TBK. TAHUN 2020-2021

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the financial performance comparison of PT. Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk
and PT Bukit Asam Tbk using liquidity, profitability, and solvency ratios. The type of research used is field research
with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out secondarily using the company's financial
reports for the 2020-2021 period published by the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this
study indicate that based on the liquidity ratio analysis, the financial performance of PT Bukit Asam Tbk is better than
PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. Then, based on the profitability ratio analysis, the financial performance of PT Adaro
Energy Indonesia Tbk and PT Bukit Asam Tbk has increased in terms of profit margin, ROA, and ROE. However, PT
Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk has better financial performance in terms of profitability compared to PT Bukit Asam
Tbk. Furthermore, based on solvency ratio analysis, both companies have a good level of solvency, but PT Bukit Asam
Tbk has a slightly higher solvency ratio compared to PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. Thus, it can be concluded that
PT Bukit Asam Tbk has better financial performance in terms of liquidity and solvency, while PT Adaro Energy
Indonesia Tbk has better financial performance in terms of profitability
