Authors

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on economic growth in Indonesia,  Malaysia, and Vietnam (2020–2024). Using quantitative analysis on World Bank data, results indicate a  positive relationship across all nations but with varying significance. FDI significantly impacts growth in  Vietnam (R2=71.2%) and Malaysia (R2=67.6%) but is statistically insignificant in Indonesia (R2=48.2%).These findings suggest FDI effectiveness relies heavily on policy quality, political stability, and infrastructure.  Consequently, institutional reforms and inclusive development strategies are essential to maximize FDI
benefits.
