ANALISIS VARIABEL-VARIABEL PREDICTORS JOB INSECURITY TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTIONS
Abstract
This research will reassess influence of acceleration variable job insecurity and it influence to the turnover intentions, with research model's Irwandi & Ghozali (2002) it is extend of Ashford. (1989) model with job insecurity instrument from Ameen et al., (1995). Data is collected from respondent answered from the questioner, the amount of 123 (26%) respondents. The mention respondents are the lecturer of economy faculty from various private universities in Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Surabaya and Malang. Then this data to be analyze by using Structural Equation Model (SEM), supporting by AMOS 4.05 and SPSS 11.0 programs. This research for answered the hypothesis statement that shows the influence of some Predictors variable to Job Insecurity and indicate direct influence of job insecurity to turnover intentions. This research gets an individual perception and negative effect on job insecurity that caused turnover intentions attitude. The large of alternative job opportunity is indicated in this research.
