Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to calculate the benefit or economic value of tourism village. Chosen location of research is Kepuharjo Village, Subdistrict of Cangkringan, Regency of Sleman, Province of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarya. This village is a tourism village that features natural view and local culture. Sampling is done random. Sample size is 140 persons. The calculation of economic value or benefit is done with close- ended contingent valuation method (CVM). The result is appropriate with the first prediction that offer (0) will be signed negative and income (I) signed positive. Negative sign on the offer connoted that the higher the given offer accepted by respondents, the lower the probability individual give priority to physical development of Kepuharjo Village without caring about the existence of biological environment; and so on the contrary. So, parameter on offer can be interpreted that voters who accept high offer will has probability as 0-^0.8007 = 0.4490 time to give more priority to develop the physical infrastructures instead of ecosystem conservation, so that the chance to vote conservation is more bigger. This invention also shows the higher the income cause the rise in individual chance to give more priority on physical development instead of conserving the Kepuharjo Village's biosfer. Income gradient as 0.0140 shows the rise in an income unit tend to cause the rise in probability of the need to give priority on physical development^. as e^0,0014 = 1.0141 time instead of caring about the ecosystem conservation.
