KARAKTERISTIK SISTEM ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI PADA INDUSTRI KECIL PENGOLAH HASIL PERTANIAN
Abstrak
There are three variables influence the level of technology adoption (TAT) on the small industries processing agricultural products in increasing its performance. First, determining variable for technological application success (KPT). Second, determining variable for more rapidly adopted technology (KAT). Third, the variable for human resources capability of technology users in small Industries (KP). The other related variables are technology capabilities (KB), and the variable for increasing small industries performance (KIK). The research respondents are 110 small industries processing agricultural products in East Java as a sample determined through purposive and random sampling. The data analysis utilizes Structural Equation Model. The result of study shows that KPT, KAT, and KP have significant influence to TAT, while TAT to KB has reciprocal influence, and TAT has significant influence to KIK. The level of technology adoption on the small industries processing agricultural products is included in Routine and Refinement level. The degree of sophisticated technological components on the small industries processing agricultural products has characteristics: (1) Technoware components are in the facility level of power/machine (mechanical/electrical); (2) Humanware components are in the level of operating ability to repairing ability, (3) Infoware components are in the level of information accustomed to the facts and the information explaining them; and (4) Organoware components are in the organizational category growing and the organization building network.
