WORK PERFORMANCE: LEADERSHIP, MOTIVATION, AND STRESS FOR CASHIER AT SUPERINDO YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to determine whether work stress, Maslow's motivation, and transformational leadership style affect employee performance in the cashier division of
Superindo Retail in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. With a population of 156 individuals, 113 were sampled using the Slovin formula with a 5% error rate. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 113 respondents via an online form using Google Forms. Only 112 questionnaires were returned. Multiple linear regression analysis and descriptive methods were used to examine the primary data. The results show that transformational leadership style and work stress do not affect employee performance. While work motivation has a positive effect on performance. The performance of the Superindo cashier division employees has been good because stress is completely controlled, and leadership styles are either nonexistent.
